The proposed is to understand the indigenism and indianism as a change in ideology and policy of indigenous, induced by the pressure of the same Indian peoples. This is necesary for access to the processes of development, without the need to be homogenized and strengthen their wealth with their implicit and explicit differences. Analyzes the historical evolutionary process of attention to indigenous peoples in educational and cultural spaces of the first half of the 20th century, subsequently analysed three decades over the second half of the same century, reviewing the creation of the Instituto Nacional Indigenista (INI). In the count of the history of these peoples, the written word has had great impact to give value to indigenous languages, strengthening the writing to disseminate their memories through stories, legends, poems and various literary works, where we sought to give beauty to the indigenous Word. But it also seeks the clear statement of needs in regard to indigenous identity and the search for their own ways of harmonious development.

Esto como parte de un análisis de la diferencia entre indigenismo e indianismo. Se propone no verse únicamente como un cambio semántico, indigenismo e indianismo, sino como un cambio en la ideología y política indigenista, inducido por la presión de los mismos pueblos indios emergentes, con políticas e ideologías nacientes y firmemente necesitadas para el acceso a los procesos de desarrollo, sin necesidad de homogeneizarse y fortalecer su riqueza con sus diferencias implícitas y explícitas. Se analiza el proceso evolutivo histórico de la atención a pueblos indígenas en espacios culturales y educativos de la primera mitad del siglo XX, posteriormente se analizan tres décadas más de la segunda mitad del mismo siglo, en donde se establecen las políticas asimiladoras del Instituto Nacional Indigenista (INI). Se dibuja un panorama general de las dos últimas décadas del Siglo XX, en donde se inicia el movimiento indígena por la reivindicación de los pueblos. En el recuento de la trayectoria histórica de estos pueblos, la palabra escrita ha ejercido gran impacto al darle valor a las lenguas indígenas, fortaleciendo la escritura para difundir sus memorias a través de cuentos, leyendas, poesías y diversas obras literarias, en donde se buscaba darle belleza a la palabra indígena.
