Sumario:The Artificial Insemination (AI) it has been used for the reproduction of birds. The use of this practice was increased with the discovery of the cryoprotectants, enlarging its utility so much in the production of domestic birds as in the conservation of wild species. The objective of this study was to determine the indicators of spermatic evaluation and distribution of carbohydrates in the surface of sperms in fresh and defrosted spermatozoans, in copies of domestic and wild species. They were analyzed of rooster (Gallus domesticus) and of pheasant (Phasianus colchicus), 20 ejaculated and 20 heterospermic samples of each species, 20 were also analyzed ejaculated of red-tail hawk (Buteo jamaicensis). All the samples were analyzed in fresh and post cryopreservation. The half, you criopreservated with dimethylsulfóxide (DMSO) and the rest with polyvinylpirrolidone (PVP). The opposing values when carrying out the spermatic evaluation showed that the cryopreservation technique proposed in this work is equally efficient for heterospermic samples and ejaculated in an individual way. Likewise we find that the PVP is since a good alternative as for cryoprotectants they were not significant differences when comparing it with the DMSO. The capacity fertilizer of the heterospermic samples was evaluated in fresh and post cryopreservation, by means of the AI of females G. domesticus and P. colchicus. It was demonstrated that it is possible the reproduction in these two species, using the cryopreservation technique proposed in this work.
