| Sumario: | CTI is an infectious, transmissible, chronically evolving disease that affects the hard tissues of the tooth. It starts at the surface of the tooth enamel, with a loss of minerals caused by the action of a cariogenic bacterial biofilm. It is characterized by teeth with caries in infants and is defined as the presence of 1 or more teeth with decay, lost or filled in patients younger than 71 months. The patient presented is of the female gender of 3 years 5 months of age with a history of bottle-feeding until 2 years of age, with diagnosis of early childhood caries of severe classification. No relevant personal pathological history. |
