Sumario:One of the great omissions in Mexican literature of the nineteenth century is referred to the study and knowledge of the second romantic generation and the characteristics of the literature of manners written between 1836 and 1855.With the intention of correcting these omissions, the present essay seeks to study one of the most representative figures of that generation, Marcos Arróniz, who apart from being ahead of his time in the field of lyric, was a figure who could revolutionize the practice manners in the national narrative tradition.
