Hypothesis School operated for training projects meet PESOEH model significantly greater percentage of learning expected in healthy eating (AS) and physical activity (PA) compared with the control group. Methodology Educational intervention was performed using the methodology of training projects (PF) with control groups in school children in first through third grade 2 public elementary and private Tepeji the Tula-Hidalgo region in the 2012-2013 school year. After the intervention expected learning AS and AF were assessed, and anthropometric indicators of obesity were measured. Results School overweight or obesity surgery more likely to achieve expected learning AS and AF than those of normal weight (p <0.01). Interventions in nutrition education in the curriculum, require more time to influence the formation of healthy habits and improve nutritional status in schoolchildren.

Objetivo evaluar la asociación de aprendizajes esperados en alimentación saludable y actividad física con indicadores antropométricos de obesidad en escolares urbanos del estado de Hidalgo. Hipótesis Escolares intervenidos con proyectos formativos del modelo PESOEH cumplen significativamente con un mayor porcentaje de aprendizajes esperados en alimentación saludable (AS) y actividad física (AF) en comparación con el grupo control. Metodología Se realizó intervención educativa mediante la metodología de proyectos formativos (PF) con grupos control en niños escolares de primero a tercer grado de 2 primarias públicas y una privada de la región Tula-Tepeji de Hidalgo en el ciclo escolar 2012-2013. Al finalizar la intervención se evaluaron aprendizajes esperados de AS y AF, y se midieron indicadores antropométricos de obesidad. Resultados Los escolares con sobrepeso u obesidad intervenidos lograron en mayor proporción los aprendizajes esperados de AS y AF que los de peso normal (p<0.01).
