| Sumario: | In the context of the debates on the incorporation of Indigenous knowledge in school processes, the creation and appropriation by an Indigenous education collective of a methodological tool are analyzed: the "Table of Indigenous Knowledge", which aims to help identify and systematize Indigenous knowledge, actions, decisions, feelings and values related to community social activity. After explaining the collaborative ethnographic methodology that supported the study, the participating Indigenous teachers are ethnically characterized through life testimonies, and subsequently, the accompanying process is analyzed. The epistemic and pedagogical principles underpinning the Table are defined and explain its structure and operation, indicating strengths and areas of opportunity for its appropriation by teachers. The study’s contributions to the field of intercultural education and its future prospects are highlighted. |
