Summary:In this article we describe the main positions that different authors have concerning sutainable development concept. Usually, the main distinction is drawn between social and physical (or ecological) sustainability. Our main conclusion is twofold. First, both social and ecological (or physical) sustainability are considered only from a technical relations’ approach. Second, a social relations’ approach leads to a broader sense of social sustainability.
