Sumario:The population transformation of the state of Nayarit has been gradual, complementary and contradictory in its first 93 years since the founding of the state. The following document presents four coordinates of study on the contemporary dimensions of the phenomenon of e / immigration and the inter-municipal human movements of the state of Nayarit that open the door to the deepening of studies and research. The first dimension we present is the intra-regional movement of agricultural laborers and other trades in the Mexican states of Chiapas, Oaxaca, Guerrero, and Morelos. The second is the intra-municipal movement of Nayarit agricultural laborers and their families for the sowing and harvesting of the main crops of the different regions of the state. The third dimension is the use of the territory of the state of Nayarit as a point of passage for Central and South American migrants as well as southern Mexico to reach the border with the United States of America. And finally, the most intense of the dimensions is the emigration of nayaritas to USA, mainly towards the state of California. Each of the migratory dimensions observed in the state of Nayarit is causing different impacts in which to reflect. The state of Nayarit represents an exceptional case to study human movements from different perspectives and disciplinary levels. Although it is a small state and one of the newest in the Mexican Republic, it is also one of the Mexican states with a long circular and permanent migratory tradition towards the United States of America.
