| Sumario: | This paper analyzes multiple trajectories of integration into Islam in Mexico City, through the study of two religious communities: the Centro Educativo de la Ciudad de México A.C (CECM) and the Sufi Community Nur Ashki Al-Yerráhi. The presentation of these communities aims at understanding the trajectories of those who change their religion. It describes religious mobility of men and women, and then studies their stories about their discovery of Islam, the official rituals of conversion, their integration into the communities and the changes or continuities in the personal and social dynamics of their social circles. |
