| Sumario: | Analyzing the painting The Symphony Q by the artist Leonora Carrington allows us to understand an important part in her life, the influences that forged her work as part of the surrealist circle and her imaginary, thus toasting a legacy that enriches the history of contemporary Mexican art. Through sources that address biographical, esoteric, musical, surreal themes and applying Erwin Panofsky's iconographic method have allowed us to approach the decipherment of a work whose representation of fantastic and mythological beings are participants in the creation of a music belonging to another plane, known as "harmony of the spheres" which proposes the idea of an orderly universe, constituted by magical and ineffable sounds. |
