Afterwards, the differences between the Venezuelan’s 1819 Constitution and the Peruvian’s 1826 Constitution will be mentioned. At the end, the paper will concentrate the analysis on the historical contextualization of Peruvian’s independence and the reason for the centralist ideology that characterizes its piece of legislation.Este artículo tiene como objetivo discutir la concepción jurídica y estratégica de la Constitución del Perú de 1826, escrita por Simón Bolívar. Tras una introducción en la que la independencia de América española se sitúa históricamente en el marco de las revoluciones políticas de finales del siglo XVIII y principios del XIX, se discuten las diferencias entre la Constitución de Venezuela de 1819 y la del Perú de 1826.
