| Sumario: | This article intends to discuss the juridical and strategical conception of the Peruvian’s 1826 Constitution, written by Simón Bolívar. At the Introduction, there will be a historical discussion on the Spanish American independence in comparison to the general picture of the political revolutions at the end of the XVIII and the beginning of the XIX century. Afterwards, the differences between the Venezuelan’s 1819 Constitution and the Peruvian’s 1826 Constitution will be mentioned. At the end, the paper will concentrate the analysis on the historical contextualization of Peruvian’s independence and the reason for the centralist ideology that characterizes its piece of legislation. |
