| Summary: | The new theory of economic development based on regional integration and globalization has unleashed the imperious need among countries to increase the competitiveness of their companies in order to achieve a hegemonic position in the international arena, as well as within nations that are already in the process of regional integration, as is the case of Mexico. However, competitiveness is not only a concept but also means following a learning process to design a competitive structure that modifies its productive processes and management, with the purpose of raising the quality of products and being competitive, in the process, it is necessary to review the national development strategies at the micro and macroeconomic levels. |
