Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) measurements were carried out to understand surface morphological features and the particle size of the phosphor. The uniformity of phase of Dy 3+ − Li + doped Y 2 O 3 phosphors was checked by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique.
