It aims at registering the development of a linked research process where academics, students and social actors recognize the forms of OS&P that currently coexist in three Totonacapan villages located in the regions of Totonacapan Veracruzano, Totonacapan Poblano and Huasteca Veracruzana. The methodology focused on a Linked Research for Management (IVG) process in which interviews and field journals were used to describe and analyze the forms of organization promoted in the villages. The results show the importance of knowledge dialogue in the recognition of these forms of community organization for the development of meaningful learning in intercultural contexts. Este artículo es el resultado de la sistematización de la Experiencia Educativa (EE) de Organización Social y Participación (OSyP), que pertenece al Programa Educativo de la licenciatura en Gestión Intercultural para el Desarrollo de la Universidad Veracruzana. Tiene por objetivo registrar el desarrollo de un proceso de investigación vinculada donde académicos, estudiantes y actores sociales reconocen las formas de OSyP que coexisten actualmente en tres pueblos totonacos ubicados en el Totonacapan Veracruzano, Totonacapan Poblano y la Huasteca Veracruzana. La metodología se centró en un proceso de Investigación Vinculada para la Gestión (IVG) en la cual se utilizaron entrevistas y diarios de campo para la descripción y análisis de las formas de organización impulsadas en los pueblos. Los resultados muestran la importancia del diálogo de saberes en el reconocimiento de estas formas de organización comunitaria vigentes para el desarrollo de aprendizajes significativos en contextos interculturales.
