| Resumo: | Insofar as it is built on the geographical space, the territory has often been more associated with statism than with dynamism. However, we believe that an analysis of its long-term historical construction can reveal subtle mobility that develops in a scenario of apparent immobility. In the following pages, we address a particular case study on the history of the configuration of the territory in the east-southeast environment of Tlaxiaco, in the central Mixteca Alta.
