| Sumario: | Margit Frenk continues reading and writing. Her fruitful work has gained for her important posts in academic organisms, several prizes, and membership in national and international editorial committees. She believes that humanities are an essential feature of culture, and that its marginalization should be combated, by creating awareness and fostering reading, even science reading. Reading is useful to develop critical sense, and that is one of the main teachers’ tasks. Poetry is a necessary part of this process. The CCH is the best place to do this. Humanities are essential to make people become truly human. |
