| Sumario: | The work history, in synthesis, the origin of the militias created by Antonio Vivanco in the mayor town hall Juchipila-Aguascalientes, in 1781, and its evolution until becoming the regiment of provincial dragons of Nueva Galicia, in 1797. It also deals with the struggle that They staged military cabildo and estamento for the supremacy of political power. Both institutions engaged in a tremendous struggle, arguing the Cabildo autonomy by royal right, while the military tried at all times the military jurisdiction, which was above all civil authority. These episodes had dramatic moments, to the point that they led to an uprising. |
