| Sumario: | This work examines the relationship between urban water management and the culture of water, assuming that there is a contradiction between these two aspects. It focuses on drinking-water service in Nuevo Laredo. The methodology employed in this study includes a look at drinking-water management indicators, a review of the literature on water culture, and interviews with local stakeholders about the population's awareness concerning water conservation.
