Sumario:The protection of the external appearance of the worker, both physical and so-called aesthetics, is a controversial issue which has been analysed by our courts of justice, mainly on a case-by-case basis. What is true is that we are not faced with a peaceful issue in doctrine and jurisprudence, there are authors who consider that the right to one’s own image does not include what, from a strictly grammatical or semantic point of view, might seem: the right of each one to bear what he deems appropriate. On the contrary, it is considered that there are aspects that may limit this right under the exercise of the freedom of enterprise to organize human resources as a manifestation of the management power of the employer
