As an extraordinary detail within the broader context of Galician Jews, it also allows us to affirm that at least two of its inhabitants chose to leave Tui when the Catholic Monarchs ordered, in 1492, the expulsion of all Jews from their kingdoms. [ES] Aunque las referencias documentales sobre los judíos tudenses no son muy numerosas, apenas unos 60 documentos, son lo suficientemente significativas como para confirmar la existencia de una comunidad que tributó al servicio y medio servicio; que compartió espacio con los cristianos por todo el perímetro urbano; que algunos de sus habitantes ejercieron actividades artesanales; que contó con la presencia de judíos no originarios de Galicia relacionados con la recaudación de tributos reales; y que en Tui existió una sinagoga y un cementerio judío.
