| Sumario: | [EN] King Charles VI madness; the kingdom of France promised to the King of England through the Traty of Troyes; the tragic death at the stake of Joan of Arc; the appear of the carácter of death in arts… Several facts that show us how far the 14th and 15th centuries make part of a crucial and problematic era. In that time it was not easy to maintain a social status, generally achieved thanks to the help of princes and the enormous expenses in the construction of imposing buildings that ensured the greatness of those characters. Jean de Montaigu went beyond the external and internal wars and struggled to achieve his goals, even if that took his own life. In the south of Paris he built his manor in which he included the parish church, a convent and his magnificent castle. |
