Descrição
Resumo:[EN] Capilla Castle (Capilla, Badajoz) showed a serious state of deterioration in its factories at the beginning of the 21st century as a result of neglect and ineffective measures taken for its conservation. As of 2012, the Capilla City Council commissioned the design of an action plan to halt the deterioration of the castle and manage to turn it into an asset for the municipality's tourist resources. The project focused on three pillars (research, dissemination and restoration) that have made it possible to return to society one of the most significant buildings in Extremadura's medieval history.
