| Sumario: | [EN] This paper continues the research of an innovative teaching proposal, partially addressed at the past E.G.A. International Conference under the approach of an ‘imaginary trip into the designer’s mind’. The objective is focused on developing mechanisms associated to graphic thinking and encouraging uninhibited, effective and encouraging uninhibited, effective and quick response sketching as a typical quick response sketching as a typical ideation resource. ideation resource. For years, ideation drawing has starred different educational proposals within the Architectural Graphic Expression’s academic sphere traditionally related to non-figurative drawings. Intentionally, the process of ideation is now reversed, intending to get into the designer’s mind and, taking into account built architecture as a direct reference, trying to recreate the ideation sketches that could have been made in order to conceive it and shape it. n this new research we have confronted the original architects’ sketches –mostly unpublished– with those of students of unquestionable appeal and undeniable self-confidence referred to the same buildings, analysing them dialectically to validate the applicability of the pedagogical approach. pedagogical approach |
