| Sumario: | [EN] This is the basic project for the extension of the Prat dock in the Port of Barcelona (Spain). The BEST Terminal, the most important container terminal in the Port, operated by the HPH Group, is located on this pier. The extension will reach 20 ha and will consist of two alignments, each 450 meters, of reinforced concrete caissons lightened by square cells. A total of 25 caissons of dimensions 34,5 m in length, 21,2 m in beam and 18 m in depth will be necessary. Those interested in the expansion are the HPH Group and the Port Authority of Barcelona. The duration of the works will be 3 years and 2 months. The estimated total budget is 95 million euros. |
