Descrição
Resumo:[EN] This article presents the project-based learning (PBL) model applied in the semester projects of the engineering degrees of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. This model represents the evolution of more than 20 years of experience in the application of PBL in semester projects. The students' approach to the semester project has been measured using the perception survey designed by Biggs and adapted to the context of PBL by Dolmans. The results indicate that students employ both deep and surface learning approaches in equal measure in the semester project, with a slight advantage towards deep learning. In addition, the questions in the quality questionnaire related to the methodology of the semester project have been analyzed and it is concluded that the students are satisfied with the motivation it generates and the level of learning they achieve with the projects. This study provides an overview of the application and results of the ABP model in semester projects at Mondragon Unibertsitatea, which may be useful for future research and applications in higher education.
