The objective of this thesis is to analyze the use of violence so as to understand its repetitive presence in the collection. It focuses particularly on how violence can serve as a redemptive path for O'Connor's characters who are normally lacking any true spirituality, and therefore in need to achieve a more sincere religious faith.L'autora nord-americana Flannery O'Connor va escriure una col·leció de relats curts el 1955 titulada A Good Man is Hard to Find and Other Stories; una col·lecció que inclou deu històries caracteritzada principalment per persones, situacions i narracions considerades com a grotesques on la violència, tant física com psicològica apareix a cada pàgina. L'objectiu d'aquesta dissertació és analitzar l'ús de la violència per tal d'entendre la seva presència constant en aquesta col·lecció.
