Descripción
Sumario:The Ebonics controversy in the United States is not an aberration. Rather, it represents a convergence of varied interests, attitudes, and experiences which are partly products of United States history and geography. Historically, popular interest in the topic can be divided into three stages: the first is lengthy; the latter two, short. The author provides a dual perspective: both as an observer and as a participant for the past thirty-three years.
