| Sumario: | [EN] This paper presents preliminary archaeobotanical data from the excavation carried out at Cueva de los Murciélagos de Albuñol (Granada). During fieldwork, a systematic sampling was carried out and sediments were collected from different contexts which, after processing, have provided a set of plant remains of great interest, dating to the Late Neolithic. These include the presence of naked barley, naked and hulled wheats and various legumes (broad beans, peas and grass pea). Wild fruits such as wild olives, acorns and pine nuts have also been identified. This study addresses plant diet and agricultural practices, as well as the use of wild plants. The data are part of the broader framework of the south Iberian Neolithic, for which archaeobotanical data from several sites are available. |
