When unsighted, touch, hearing or smell become a more objective and scientific form of perception than sight itself. It’s fascinating to try to draw something that has been smelt or touched but has not been seen. Using as reference the group of engravings by Pablo Picasso used to create the Minotaur, we will be entering a hidden and unknown world, lethargic in the bowels of Seville Cathedral, with the difficult task of trying to map it. Strange drawings that emerge from darkness, in which the base is not light but the absence of it. These blind cartographies suggest more than they represent, they suggest an action, encouraging the reader’s interaction with them. When opening the drawing a revealing shadow spreads on our table.[ES] ¿Cómo dibujar el espacio cuando no lo vemos? Este ensayo propone al lector una experiencia: cierren los ojos para ver mejor, intenten dibujar aquello que ahora no vemos. Dibujar a ciegas supone una estimulación creativa sobrecogedora, el cuerpo se convierte en herramienta, en bastón que nos guía en el intento. A ciegas, el tacto, el oído o el olfato se convierten en formas de percepción más objetivas y científicas que la propia vista. Resulta fascinante tratar de dibujar un plano de aquello que no se ha visto pero sí olido o tocado. Usando como referencia la familia de grabados realizados por Pablo Picasso sobre el minotauro y la ceguera, nos adentraremos en un mundo oculto y desconocido, aletargado en las entrañas de la Catedral de Sevilla, con la difícil tarea de intentar cartografiarlo. Extraños dibujos que emergen de la oscuridad, en los que la base no es la luz sino su ausencia. Estas cartografías ciegas sugieren más que representan, proponen una acción, favorecen la interacción del lector con ellas.
