Sumario:As language teaching methodologies continue to evolve with time, there has been a shift from the traditional, teacher-centred approaches to a student-based perspective. With these new methodologies, new resources such as authentic materials play an important role in English as a Foreign Language instruction. These materials, which reflect real-world situations, serve to immerse students in meaningful language experiences and foster acquisition and fluency in the classroom. This MA thesis aims to design an innovative, motivating didactic proposal which integrates authentic materials using a task-based learning approach. This proposal has as a goal to put students in a real life-like situation, to develop fluency through communication and interactions between students, and to raise cultural awareness, introducing students to basic aspects of the United Kingdom through the design of a trip.
