Description
Summary:The environmental impacts imposed by various Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), for urban paving applications, will be determined with the use of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool, SimaPro. Results from this investigation will contribute to achieving the larger sustainability agenda, in terms of implementation of the most sustainable solutions and identification of the most environmentally damaging unit processes. This research shall facilitate the decision-making process for Civil Engineers and broaden the available LCA literature, within an engineering context.
