Descrição
Resumo:This research work has been focused toward the use of the similarities between a satellite architecture (solar panels, batteries, power control unit, DC power bus, plataform and useful load) and the design of an electrical architecture based ond fuel ells (FCs), in which the FC will replace the solar panels, while the auxilary storage devices (ASDs), control unit and buses will continue exist adapted to the new load context. Basically, the main objective is adapt these FCs algorithms based on energy management strategies, architectures an tools that have been used in the spatial systems field. The key element of the different hybrid topologies (FC, ASD in conjuction with dc-dc switching converters) is a modular non-inverting buck-boost converter wich has been analyzed, studied and implemented in this study and has the following features: voltage step-up and step-down properties, high efficiency, and low input an output current ripples. This module can control its input and output currents, with a wide bandwidth, which eases the design of the digital master control. This master control will be implemented digitally.
