Descripción
Sumario:In this study we will analyse the figure and the feminist legacy of Raoul Guérin de la Grasserie (1839-1914), a man of letters, philosopher and jurist in 19th century France, in the frame of the masculine voices who defended women’s rights in the past. We aim to rescue from oblivion the figure and the writings of this author, unknown in our days, through his publications, contemporary documents and the press of his time. We will also offer a first approach to his essay “Le movement féministe et les droits de la femme”, of 1894, where he develops the juridical defence of women’s rights.
