Descripción
Sumario:This work is the final outcome of my Master on Cultural management by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and the Universidad de Girona and consists of a critical analysis of the cultural diplomacy of the European Union and its relationship with the theses of strategic autonomy. There is a theoretical gap between the concepts of cultural diplomacy and of strategic autonomy which this research contributes to bridge focusing on the institutional register and analysing EU supranational policy narrative and design. This critical analysis is organised along three axis: what is culture and EU foreign cultural policy relates to it, who is involved and in which role, and what are the practical actions (funding) supported EU policies on cultural diplomacy.
