Sumario:The synodality of the local church could be considered only from the standpoint of a solid theology of the local church. Although the Second Vatican Council does not offer an exhaustive exposition of the local church, it does provide important materials for its elaboration. The Council specifically presents the liturgical action as a model with which one can consider the local church. It is an action structured by the interdependence between the one who presides and the active and conscious participation of all. This very structure can be found in the synodal life that entails the conspiratio between the one who presides and the rest of the members of the Church.
