| Sumario: | [EN] The present paper is the completion of a study, started in a preceding work, on the species of Synergus in the Iberian Península. The study deals with eleven species belonging the Section II (MAYR, 1872) of this genus and is based on specimens reared from galls collected in the years 1977-1985 mainly in Spain. A new species is described : S. plagiotrochi sp. nov. The new species is a inquiline in galls produced by some species of Plagio trochus MAYR on Quercus ilex and Q. coccif era. A key of identification is provided. For all the species data, in several cases not previously published, are furnished about intraspecific variation. Phenological and biological data are algo given including life-cycles, host galls and host plants. |
