| Sumario: | [EN] We studied 7.757 specimens belonging to 8 species of the genus Synergus HTG. classified with Section I MAYR, collected in the Iberian Peninsula in the years 1977-1984. A key of identification is provided. All the species recorded and described by TAVARES in the first Revision of the genera in the Iberian Peninsula are discussed and new synonymys are established. Data are given on morphology, referred to intraspecific variation, and biology including life-cycles, host galls and host plants of all the species. |
