Through the format of any common monolingual dictionary, it uses various word games and inventive idea associations to ridicule the Frenchification of the language of Sephardi Jews at the time.[ES] El presente artículo contiene la edición crítica y el estudio de el Diccionario para emṿeźar a hablar (en) franqueado, aparecido en 1909 en los primeros números del periódico satírico sefardí El Soitarí de Esmirna, y que pasa por ser el primer diccionario humorístico en judeoespañol conocido hasta la fecha. En él, bajo el formato de cualquier diccionario monolingüe al uso, mediante diversos juegos de palabras e ingeniosas asociaciones de ideas, se ridiculiza el afrancesamiento del habla de los sefardíes del momento.Este artículo fue llevado a cabo dentro del Proyecto de Investigación Sefarad, siglo xxi (2013-2014): Edición y estudio filológico de textos sefardíes (ref. FFI2012-31390), financiado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (MINECO).
