| Sumario: | [EN] The decision to publish, in this special issue of the journal LC. Revue de recherches sur Le Corbusier devoted to Vers une architecture, a French version of the monumental English-language introduction that Jean-Louis Cohen gave to the new American translation of Vers une architecture, published in 2007, was taken with him in July 2023. His tragic death on 8 August prevented him, by a matter of days, from re-reading this unpublished text in French, of which he had kept only a French draft; in agreement with him, only a few minor changes and updates, made necessary after the fifteen years that have passed since its publication, have been made. We are publishing this text as a tribute to the great historian of modern architecture who has done so much to promote knowledge of Le Corbusier. The first part of this introduction was published in the previous issue of the journal LC. |
