Sumario:Currently, technologies are so prevalent in our society that teachers need to be continuously trained in their use in teaching and learning processes. For this reason, it is necessary to understand the level of self-perception that teachers have regarding their own digital teaching competence (DTC), both in terms of knowledge and use of technologies. This research focuses on this issue. To this end, 158 teachers in training were surveyed. The results indicate that, despite the boom in new technological tools, this has not been accompanied by an increase in the respondents self-perceived CDD. These results show that there is still a clear lack of use of technology, with a particular focus on education. This highlights the need for further training for teachers to achieve a sufficient level of digital teaching competence to train their students in the use of technologies.
