Así mismo, también se reflexiona sobre la influencia del literato en la personal obra de Luis Buñuel, especialmente en aquellas películas basadas en sus obras. Este recorrido pretende vincular también la incidencia de Galdós en la cinematografía con el propio devenir de la historia española.
