Sumario:MotoStudent is a two-year competition in which universities from all over the world compete to find out whose student-made prototype motorcycle is the fastest. For this year’s edition, the motorcycles geometries and the battery box’s dimensions have changed, therefore a new sub-chassis will be needed. Different design possibilities for this component will be studied, comparing it against road-legal bikes, world championship bikes, and even bikes entered for past editions of the MotoStudent competition to ensure our prototype is competitive. Past ver- sions of this component will also be reviewed, both in terms of fabrication and design, to come up with the best possible compromise, making our prototype as competitive as possible.
