| Sumario: | [EN] This paper presents the project of the Virtual Museum of the Fire Festivals of the Pyrenees, inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity. It’s a cross-border project, developed by different universities and government entities in Spain, France and Andorra, and different associations dedicated to the celebration of the festivals. The project, financed by Interreg EU funds, was born as a project to give continuity to the declaration of World Heritage, but it has been revealed as a necessary and substitute action before the non-celebration of the Festivals in the Covid periode. Through the example of this project, it’s intended to go further, also presenting the challenges of virtual museums, especially those dedicated to intangible heritage. |
