Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The present study proposes an equation to calculate the dissolution rate of gypsiferous rocks in ranges of hydraulic and hydrochemical parameters that include the most common conditions in surface waters of the Ebro river basin. This estimation is approached through statistical equations (multiple linear regressions with two or three independent variables) or through physico-chemical equations (first and second-order reaction). From the six equations proposed, the kinetic of second-order reaction has been selected (VDY=45.VF(Cs - C)2), since it gives an excellent fit between the experimental data and the data calculated for the conditions studied, and mathematically it represents the dissolution process of gypsum most accurately.
