This condition, which promotes the economic development of society, brings with it a change in urbanization patterns, emphasizing landscapes configured by the images of new logistic and service areas that, to a certain extent, make invisible/threaten a series of heritage resources that support local manifestations of cultural identity. This article seeks to highlight these resources and to demonstrate that despite the current changes in the functional structure, there still persists (until now) a heritage layer that can be promoted and managed around a concept that we will call The Sabana´s Heritage Axis.La urbanización del altiplano cundiboyacense, fuertemente influenciada por la hegemonía funcional de Bogotá, está transformando aceleradamente el territorio mediante la reproducción sistémica de procesos de carácter global que influyen en los imaginarios de sus habitantes y en la forma de habitarlo e interpretarlo. La atención exclusiva al desarrollo económico, trae consigo un cambio en los patrones de urbanización, afectando el paisaje con nuevas áreas logísticas y de servicios, que invisibilizan y amenazan el patrimonio tangible e intangible, testimonio de la identidad de dicho territorio.
