The role of women in art, the relationship between embroidery and graphic expression techniques and the sense of inheritance and collectivity of embroidery are other aspects that are developed in this work. Finally, a list of women artists who use the technique of embroidery in their works has been drawn up.[ES] El propósito de este trabajo es mostrar la evolución y el uso del bordado como instrumento de protesta en la lucha feminista que se desarrolla a partir del movimiento sufragista así como su introducción en el mundo del arte y lo que ello significa para el arte canónico tradicional. El papel de la mujer en el arte, la relación entre el bordado y las técnicas gráficas de expresión y el sentido de herencia y colectividad del bordado son otros de los aspectos que se desarrollan en este trabajo.
