Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The purpose of this work is to show the evolution and use of embroidery as an instrument of protest in the feminist struggle that develops from the suffragist movement as well as its introduction in art and what this means for traditional canonical art. The role of women in art, the relationship between embroidery and graphic expression techniques and the sense of inheritance and collectivity of embroidery are other aspects that are developed in this work. Finally, a list of women artists who use the technique of embroidery in their works has been drawn up.
