Sumario:[EN] The Cantón Ibarra has a population of approximately 230 thousand inhabitants and account with one of index them of population's growth higher of Ecuador ( 2,8 % yearly ). For this reason, Drinkable water's and Sewage system Municipal Company of Ibarra ( EMAPA I ) confronts big challenges and a need to try to obtain of a most efficient way her Infrastructure and community services. EMAPA I administers the drinkable water supply utility and sewage system at the whole canton in a 98 %, existing the administrating boards of water in a 2 %. The coverage of the services of the EMAPA I belongs to the 98 % in drinkable water and 92 % in sewage system in this coverage is to the urban area and peripherals of the city, in the rural area of the 95 % in water and 87 in sewage system. The present work is accomplishing the hydraulic model of the system of drinkable water that supplies the downtown. This document holds back a description of the aforementioned model and the benefits that the used tools offer. As I contributes the step of the EMAPA he encounters the stocks to follow to get out the improvement of the performance of the net of the system 4, and that it will serve as base to go on with the remaining systems that the company manages. The document encounters a cost-reducing assessment of the losses that a guide for the decision making for the improvement of the management, the fact that every manager will have to have present than what he does not measure himself will be at the end of the present it is not managed.
