| Sumario: | [EN] Let's imagine that whoever builds a house in São Paulo seeks to blur the boundaries between open and closed spaces, inside and outside, covered and uncovered, taking advantage of our climate. The project interprets this desire in a ten-metre wide plot, typical of the pleasant Jardim Paulistano neighbourhood, a privileged part of the city with commerce, services, trees and infrastructure. The design aims to surround the house with gardens, terraces and balconies that extend into the interiors to form a unique environment. The main approach is to arrange the construction longitudinally on the site, in a linear fashion, keeping half of the width free at five metres. Thus, the vegetation is located on the north side, ensuring a retreat for sunlight and permanent aeration of the house that rests on the opposite edge. The plot expands, leaving the greatest length free, reinforcing this perception of spaciousness with balconies, patios and the transparency of the living room. |
